Norma Shabazz is a Resident in Counseling originally from New Jersey and currently based in Eastern North Carolina. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health from Walden University and is passionate about working with pre-teens and teens, helping them navigate the challenges of adolescence. With a hands-on approach, she utilizes creative projects and activities to engage young clients, uncovering key issues that need to be addressed in therapy.

Outside of her professional work, Norma enjoys reading, baking, crocheting, and spending quality time with her parents, grown children, and beloved dog. Her personal interests and experiences enhance her empathetic approach to counseling and fostering meaningful connections with those she works with.
